In Suriname, he was involved in floriculture for many years before starting his own business in building materials. Alongside his entrepreneurial activities, he always maintained a strong passion for growing vegetables and fruit trees. From the very first soursop plants to the present day, he has been actively involved in every aspect of the company. With his dedication, vision, and commitment, he continues to play a key role in the growth and success of ZuDo.

In the coming years, he will continue serving as the overall manager and director, guiding the company toward further development and expansion.

An entrepreneur at heart, he spent his twenties working as a technical assistant in several processing factories in the Netherlands. Although he built valuable international experience abroad, Suriname has always remained close to his heart. Born and raised in Suriname, he always carried the ambition to return home and build a business of his own, contributing to the growth and development of his country.

Jill Donk

Managing Director
An entrepreneur at heart with a true passion for food, she developed a love for cooking from a young age. She enjoys experimenting with different recipes, flavors, and cooking techniques, always striving to create something unique and memorable. Jill believes that with dedication, hard work, and passion, ZuDo can grow into a Surinamese brand to be proud of. Through her journey, she hopes to inspire other young women in Suriname who dream of starting their own business one day.

Adrey Donk

Shareholder
Born into a farming family with a strong interest in horticulture, she developed a deep connection with agriculture from an early age. After dedicating many years to education as a biology teacher, she retired and continued pursuing her passion for nature and farming. Since the beginning of ZuDo, Adrey has played a key role in the development of the soursop fields. She strongly believes in the potential of the soursop industry and approaches every challenge with determination and enthusiasm.

Mardi Sojo

Field Manager
He developed a passion for agriculture at a young age and has gained extensive experience throughout the years. In the past, he was actively involved in plant cultivation and worked for several years at Surinam Ornamentals N.V. Over the years, Mardi has cultivated a variety of fruit trees, but he sees exceptional potential in the soursop industry due to the growing demand both locally and internationally. He also has broad knowledge and experience in plant propagation techniques, including marcotting, budding, and other cultivation methods.
